Last week they announced that their upcoming "Pussy Primary" tour with Susan Powter is now also the B&A's "Farewell Tour" that Animal hinted could last even longer than Cher's extended "Farewell" tour.

Last year they released their third CD "Sour Juice & Rhyme" with great fanfare. It was their second go with Ani DiFranco's label Righteous Babe Records. They've been collaborating for a decade, and on the side each has been working on solo projects that may or may not include each other in the future. There's no animosity; this split is a mutual thing. Bitch is in the studio right now finishing her CD of poetry and music. She's been working with June Millington, who was behind the board for B&A's last release. "She's a musical gal and one of the best poets I've ever known," gushed Animal of her pal Bitch.

Animal is also in the studio, producing a project that she's been dreaming of ever since she first picked up a copy of Diane DiMassa's comic "Hothead Paison - Homicidal Lesbian Terrorist." She was 18 and studying theatre when she found "Hothead" and immediately thought, "I want to make a musical out of this." A couple of years ago she approached DiMassa about her vision, who agreed to give Animal the stage rights to "Hothead." "I've been brewing this dream for eight years," Animal said.

This summer at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival, "Hothead Paison: The Musical, Act I" will take to the stage. That show will star Animal as 'Hothead,' Ferron as 'Roz' Hothead's mentor, and Ani DiFranco as 'Chicken,' Hothead's cat. "I'm gathering some of the greatest women I know to have a revolution," says Animal of the show. It will also include Toshi Regan, Julie Wolf, Susan Powter and more. Her future vision is to take the show on the road across the country. "I have big plans for it."

The tour wraps up in Brooklyn, NY in April. Get 'em while you can.
